The Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is a system that will work to automatically adjust the speed of your Avalon. It varies the speed with the goal of maintaining your predetermined following distance that separates the vehicle in front of you and your car.

Automatic High Beam

AHB, or Automatic High Beam, is designed to increase visibility during night driving. The system detects other vehicles at a distance of up to 2,000 feet. Based on this information and the general circumstances, the system switches your high beams on or off so other drivers can see you without being blinded.

Pre-Collision System

The Pre-Collision System works together with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and detects whether you are at risk of a frontal collision. In cases where a collision is likely to occur, the system will automatically apply your brakes in addition to retracting the front seatbelts in order to keep you and your passengers safe.
