Top 5 Things You Should Know About the 2016 RAV4 Hybrid

The rear independent motor supplies another 67 horsepower. Storage for the system comes in a sealed nickel metal hydride 244.8 volt battery under the rear seat. The total output for the gas-electric powertrain is 194 horsepower, which beats out the 176 horsepower of the gas-only version. There is an estimated 34 mpg city/31 mpg highway, 33 combined mpg* with the RAV4 Hybrid.

All RAV4 trims got a facelift this year, including the RAV4 Hybrid. The new makeover gives its previous aerodynamics and stylish appearance more ways to stand out. The front looks more like an SUV than a crossover. The RAV4 Hybrid also has a combination of daytime running lights, LED headlights and taillights, and Hi-Lo Headlights.
