Take The Family To The Phantom Tollbooth At The Hylton Performing Arts Center
Do you want your kids to love the theater as much as you do? The key is to introduce them to musicals and plays at an early age. You can do just that by taking your family to a performance of The Phantom Tollbooth on Jan. 26 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center. The Enchantment Theatre Company will perform the show at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 for children and $15 for adults.
About The Phantom Tollbooth
The Phantom Tollbooth is an original stage adaptation of the children’s classic by Norton Juster. The theater company will use masks, puppets, and scenic effects to tell the story of Milo and the magical world he encounters.
When the play opens, you’ll see a very bored Milo. He is ready to have some fun, and that’s when a tollbooth appears. He drives his toy car through the tollbooth, and that’s when the real action begins. Milo is transported to a magical world, and it’s up to him to help out by using the information he’s learned in school.
While the play is full of magic and mystery, it focuses on the importance of education. It also teaches kids how to love life, even if there isn’t excitement (like a magic tollbooth) at every corner.
Who Should Attend the Show?
This show is meant for children aged 6 to 11 and their parents. If your child is in that age range and loves a good story, get your tickets. It’s the perfect way to introduce a little one to the theater.

What’s Coming Next?
Your child will love The Phantom Tollbooth and will want to see other shows as well. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show will be at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on March 30 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are also $15 for adults and $10 for kids, and the recommended age range is 3 to 7. The show is an adaptation of four popular stories by Eric Carle, and since it contains 75 puppets, you can expect it to dazzle your little one.
Now that you know how to dazzle your child, it’s time to think about dazzling yourself. What would make you feel that rush of excitement? A new vehicle, of course. Just head to Miller Toyota in Manassas, Virginia, and get a new car, truck, or SUV. Then, you can take your child to the theater in style.
