Don’t Miss Monster Jam
It’s the biggest, baddest, most exciting show in all the land, and it’s making a pit stop at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. You know it as the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series, and it’ll be here on Jan. 27 to 28. You can pick up a ticket for as little as $20, and that’ll give you a track-side seat to all the action. If you like big wheels, loud motors, and lots of stunts, you absolutely do not want to miss this event.
New to the world of Monster Jam? Here’s a crash course on everything you need to know.
The Competition
The Monster Jam Triple Threat Series just might be the wildest Monster Jam tour to date. It has the same competitions fans have come to love when watching Monster Jam. That means you’ll watch drivers race through an obstacle course, perform donuts, and do the two-wheel skills challenge. This challenge is crazy fun. The drivers have to bring at least two wheels off the ground when performing the stunts, and you’ll be gasping the entire way.
There is also the fan-favorite freestyle competition. The drivers will perform their favorite stunts during this part of the show. Just try to stay in your seat when they’re freestyling out there.
But this is the triple threat tour, so there is more.
The drivers also perform stunts while driving ATVs and speedsters. It’s crazy what they can do on these recreational vehicles.
You Be the Judge
You won’t just be there as a fan. You’ll be the judge as well. Well, you won’t be the only judge, but you will play an important role in determining who is crowned the winner of Monster Jam.
You just need to vote on your mobile phone after each competition. The fans’ scores will be combined with the judges’ scores, and then the winner will be decided. You might not be able to participate by driving a Monster Truck, but this is the next best thing.

Party in the Pit
Want to have even more fun? Get a Monster Jam Pit Pass for $15 and party with the drivers before the event. Meet the drivers, get autographs, and snap some photos. Plus, you’ll get to see those amazing monster trucks up close. Think they look big from your seat in the arena? Just wait until you’re standing right next to one.
You’ll fall in love with the monster trucks, but they aren’t meant to be driven on the road. Fortunately, Miller Toyota in Manassas, Virginia, has all kinds of fun vehicles for you to enjoy. Stop by and pick up some new wheels to take to Monster Jam and everywhere else you want to go.
