A Closer Look at the 2016 Toyota Rav4 Trim Options
Figure out which trim option for the Toyota Rav4 you prefer to make sure you get the crossover that meets your budget and has all the features you need. Remember that you can also drive the Rav4 Hybrid if you want, but you will be limited the XLE or Limited trims. The non-hybrid Rav4 is available as an LE, XLE, SE, or Limited.
2016 Toyota Rav4 LE
The base Rav4 LE gives you a driver blind spot mirror, 17-inch steel wheels, roof rails, and rear privacy glass on the exterior. To make life easier, you get a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, and rearview camera. Other interior features include air-conditioning, a 60/40 rear seat that folds and reclines, height adjustment for the driver, Entune with a 6.1-inch touchscreen, an auxiliary audio jack, a USB port, a CD player, six speakers, and Bluetooth. You can add the Entune Audio Plus package to the Rav4 LE. This gives you Scout GPS Link navigation, Siri Eyes Free, HD and satellite radio, and information on weather and traffic.
Toyota Rav4 XLE
The Rav4 XLE trim option comes standard with the Entune Audio Plus package, leather on the steering wheel, aggressive bolstering on the front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a height-adjustable power liftgate, heated mirrors, fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a sunroof.
Toyota Rav4 SE
The SE trim option is ideal for Manassas drivers who want a sportier Rav4 thanks to its sport-tuned suspension and 18-inch wheels. It also has LED exterior lighting and keyless entry plus ignition. Inside, you get 8-way power adjustment and power lumbar for the driver, driver memory settings, heated front seats, SofTex upholstery, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot warning.
Toyota Rav4 Limited
The Limited trim has the features of the SE trim but the suspension of the XLE trim. It also has 18-inch wheels in chrome to match the chrome exterior trim. Inside, you get the Toyota Safety Sense package, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, navigation, smartphone app integration, and a 7-inch touchscreen with better resolution.
Other Rav4 Options
If you want to add more options to your 2016 Rav4, then consider adding the Entune Premium Audio package to the XLE or SE. This gives you navigation, smartphone app integration, and the larger touchscreen. If you get the XLE, you can also opt for the Convenience Package for those features along with Safety Sense, parking sensors in the front and rear, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and keyless entry plus ignition. Those who listen to music a lot may want to add 11 speakers of JBL sound to the SE or Limited. Both these trims also offer an Advanced Technology Package for a top-down parking camera system and parking sensors. On the SE, this package also adds the Toyota Safety Sense suite and adaptive cruise control.
