Treat Mom To Mother’s Day Brunch At Battle Street Bistro

Everyone knows that Mother's Day is all about brunch. Sure, flowers, handmade cards, and cute clay jewelry dishes were the sweetest gifts to give when we were children. Now, the best gift might just be on the savory side. To give your mom or the mother of your children a wonderful Mother's Day morning, treat her to a decadent brunch at Battle Street Bistro. She won't be disappointed.

Sweet Mother's Day Brunch Items

Battle Street Bistro is a restaurant that serves a menu filled with dishes inspired by French cuisine. So, their breakfast menu would not be complete without French toast. If your mom has a sweet tooth, she'll love one of the indulgent French toast options. The first, of course, is a traditional recipe made with challah bread and served with berry compote, butter, and syrup. If she would prefer a richer, more vibrant flavor, she should order the French Toast Suzette. The challah bread in this dish is topped with candied oranges, cardamom butter, and orange-infused caramel.

Savory Brunch Options

Dishes that are fluffy, sugary, and drizzled in syrup are great, but sometimes you want something with robust flavors instead. For that, try one of Battle Street Bistro's crepe options. The Chicken Asparagus crepe is a delicious combination of marinated chicken, asparagus béchamel, and Parmesan cheese wrapped in a light, French pancake. For a vegetarian version, try the vegetable crepe with Asparagus, mushrooms, bell pepper, onions, tomatoes, pistou cream, and parmesan cheese.

Mother's Day Eggs

Brunch just wouldn't be right without eggs, and Battle Street Bistro has a few scrumptious egg options. You and your mom can add a side order of two eggs to any of the above options. Or, enjoy an order of Quiche Lorrain. It is a gluten-free option with bacon, tomatoes, onions, and gruyere cheese on a potato-based crust. Another option is Shakshouka. Shakshouka is two poached eggs in a tomato and pepper stew. The stew is topped with fresh basil and feta cheese.
